Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche

Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche (Tib. རྫོང་གསར་མཁྱེན་བརྩེ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་, Wyl.rdzong gsar mkhyen brtse rin po che) (b. 1961) — the principal incarnation of Jamyang Khyentse Chökyi Lodrö.

Biography

Born in Bhutan, Thubten Chökyi Gyamtso, also known as Khyentse Norbu, was recognized by H.H. Sakya Trizin as the third incarnation of Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo, the founder of the Khyentse lineage, and the immediate incarnation of Jamyang Khyentse Chökyi Lodrö.

The monasteries and shedras that Rinpoche inherited are traditional learning centers where many of our future Buddhist teachers are educated.
