Michael Francis Moore (born April 23, 1954 in Davison, Michigan, USA) is an American writer and moviemaker.

American humorist Will Rogers [1879-1935] began his career on stage (vaudeville and Broadway) then starred on radio and in feature films; he died at age 55.
